Afternoon gents, I dropped a few trees late winter on my place and have since decided to put in another food plot so for the past three days I've been dropping trees and clearing brush. Now I'm looking for a wood chipper lol. Anybody up in my neck of the woods have one that I can rent? The local rental shop runs almost $300 a day. Thanks TOOvile.

Very green. Plus, I'd have to drag it all to an open spot on my land which will probably take forever lol. The easiest thing for me to do is drive my quad there with a chipper.

Pile it up to funnel them down to where you want them to come out, plus creates habitat for othe critters...
J beat me to it. This is what I would do. Fugg that chipper... You still have to pick up and drag brush to the chipper, so you're not saving yourself much work. Save the $300 and make some strategic piles.

Agreed. Pile it up around the plot to force them to enter / exit where you want.

Well I'll probably pile some up to help funnel in. Hopefully I'll have time this weekend to work back there. Thanks gents.

On our farm, I started making brush piles.
I strategicly put the big stuff on thr bottom to make "voids" underneath the smaller stuff. I have noticed our rabbit population has went up since I built approximately 20 some brush piles.
