    Hunting vs. Women

Hunting is better than chasing women, because if you bag a big one, you can actually tell your friends about it. :ROFLMAO:

    Elite HNTR33

I've got it sighted in, out to 50 yards, but here's the 40 yard results. The shadow of the arrow shafts, shows the closeness of the shafts. I'm very happy with this Elite HNTR33! Very smooth draw cycle too. At the archery pro shop the digital scale shows it at a 58# Draw Weight and...

    Darwin Awards - 2004

I love the Darwin Awards!!! :sneaky: Especially, their subtitle.... "Dedicated to those who improve the gene pool, by removing themselves from it." I recall the 2004 Darwin Award nominee who had purchased a large lava lamp in early December. He decided that the lava wasn't moving around fast...

First Hard Antlers of the Season

I was hoping to get a velvet buck with the season opening on the 13th, but it's not looking good with this guy scraping it off already.

    Body Count for 2025

I've shot more g-hogs this year, than last year. So, next year is going to be a serious challenge. 24 with the M&P Sport 22LR. 8 with the Savage 22-250. I just shot #8 a few minutes ago, in the soy beans, at 187 yards. The 55 gr. V-Max never left her body at 3850 fps....she ate it all. :sneaky:

    Sense of Humor

Ever wonder if God has a sense of humor? Just remember that the first 9 months of your life you spent it trying to get outside of a woman. Then you spend the rest of your life trying to get back into one. :ROFLMAO:

    Apples

I gathered up some apples from an orchard and put them out along the edge of the woods at the back of my house. I was curious to see if any of the big bucks from back in the woods would show up. Nothing yet, the the first 24 hours has been entertaining. :) There's a doe with a single fawn that...

    Only 1 Broadhead

If all of your current and/or past broadheads were "gone" and you were left to choose "Only 1 Broadhead" for all of your hunting needs..... What would be your choice? I'm going with a VPA single bevel (left bevel) in either a 100 or 125 grain.

    Go Woke, Go Broke

Cracker Barrel CEO Julie Felss Masino's decision to 'decolonize' the company starting by removing the old-fashioned country gentleman meant to evoke nostalgia and Americana from the logo is hammering the stock wiping out $250 Million in value. Since Felss became CEO the stock is down 34% erasing...

    Ask Alexa

The other day I asked Alexa, "What came first the chicken or the egg?" She replies, "I don't know. Why don't your order both on Amazon and see which one comes first." :sneaky::ROFLMAO:

    OSTA at Ashland

Today was my first time at the Ashland County Wildlife Conservation League and it was impressive! A lot of acreage, ponds to fish, plenty of room for camping, a very nice club house/barn and the course didn't disappoint either. My "flat-lander" legs had the workout of a lifetime on those hills...

Mobile Hunter Expo 2025 in Wilmington

I've always wanted to attend one of these shows, but one thing or another kept me from going. I'm going to make the trip and see this one, in Wilmington, Ohio. (y) https://themobilehuntersexpo.com/

If You Could Talk to the Animals....or....

You can talk to the animals, understand them and they could talk to you. ...or.... You can fluently speak all languages anywhere in the world. Which one would you choose?

    ETAR 2025

I'm on the fence about going, due to the 6 hour and 45 minute drive. Even so, I'd like to see all the stuff. There's still a few local motels available, but I'm sure they're going quick. Anyone else going to ETAR 2025?

    50 Year Anniversary

Tomorrow is our 50 year anniversary and my wife suggested we kill a cow to have some steaks and celebrate. I told her is wasn't the cow's fault. Her brother was the one that introduced us. He's the one we should be killin'. :ROFLMAO:

    Backyard Buck

When the farmers cleaned out their soy bean planter, they dumped what they had left on the ground. I've been watching this buck for a while, but he's always been much further out into the bean field....until he discovered these beans on the ground. :) He's about 55 yards in these photos that I...

    Dragonfly Repellent

I seen these things on one of those FB Reels. A short commercial for a clip-on dragonfly that allegedly keeps bugs away. The fishing videos didn't impress me, because I've never ran into an insect problem, while fishing on my kayak. Bugs don't get more than 15 or 20 feet off-shore or...
