    When's your rut vacation?

I’ve got November 4th to the 14th. Killed most of my bucks between the 8-13.

    Lone Wolf Climber Rebuild

Good stuff! I remodeled a Summit over the winter and used almost all the same exact supplies you have. I have a two year old Lone Wolf hand climber. I love how light it is and how it packs but it’s not very comfortable for all day sits. Figured I’d give the Summit a try.

    Slick Trick? Any one?

Good morning all! I’m hoping I can get some personal experience from some of you folks. I spent this off season researching and building a better flying and penetrating arrow for my set up. I ended up going with Easton Axis Pro Grade 5mm with a 50 grain brass insert and a small 4 vane helical...

    Public land proposals...

I read it the same way but I have other folks that disagree. Hoping this is the case or else I’m going to be canceling a trip.

    Public land proposals...

How do you all interpret the new proposal below? Do you read it as no bucks until December 2nd or that you may only shoot does up to December 2 and not after? The ODNR Division of Wildlife also proposed modifications for hunting on public land that would permit hunters to harvest only one...

Looking to upgrade my archery setup

I have the HHA king pin and really like it. My buddy shoots the Spot Hogg Fast Eddie XL with a double pointer. I really like the double pointer. It has two pins on one post. If I were to get another sight it would be that one. It is also cheaper than the HHA. Personally I’ve always shot the QAD...

I know something about getting it done on public land...

People know I go to Ohio but I don’t even tell people what part or what forest. I’ve done way too much work to find some of these spots. There are definitely not bucks behind every tree but if you work for them you can find them.

I know something about getting it done on public land...

Well the days have come and gone on our highly anticipated trip to Ohio. This year marked our 4th year making the long trek from Vermont to Ohio. As usual the anticipation was high and we were hoping to hit the rut (which can always be challenging booking a vacation a year in advance). This year...

    Boneview card reader

When viewing photos using the Boneview do you need to upload or import them to your device (cellphone)? I run into issues with my iPhone because you need to import the photos to your phone. My phone is one of the smaller memory capacity phones so it is constantly full. Viewing thumbnails on a...

Team Prime Strikes on a Vermont Doe

Those are the Beman ICS Hunter White Out. I like them a lot so far. I always hated not being able to see my arrows that well whether in flight or in the target. Another bonus with these arrows are the price. I was shooting the Carbon Express Blu RZ which locally run $90/ half dozen. I picked...
