I got this 8 two years ago during gun. Stalked up on him laying with a doe. Watched him breed her 3 times when they finally got up. Best hunt I’ve ever had. Longest tine only 7.5” and grossed 143”. Who cares though. He was heavy and big 8’s are coolest deer I think. Put my buddy on another big 8...

Got a 140” + laying with doe on edge of woods 300 yards away. Could be here awhile to see what they do. Where’s all the small bucks at when you need them.

And rattled a big one from 325 yards to 100 and he wouldn’t come any closer. Threw the kitchen sink at him. Things finally getting good here.

Guess I’ll try the whiner tactic. Finally seen good rut action yesterday morning. 5 bucks and one was shooter harassing a doe. Of course doe went wrong way. Almost to stand tonight and bump a deer. Was a shooter by himself it looked like. Never winded me at least.

It was killed by auglaize county game warden in auglaize county. I know exactly where also. They came up with gross 207”. I seen trail pics of it last year and this year.

Nice buck mike. Looks like some good mass. I’ve been out for last 6 straight days and have 6 left on vacation. Haven’t seen a mature buck on stand yet but they are still around on camera. Been seeing a lot of does but no bucks really harassing them. Any day it should get good here. I hope.
