odd

This hen's coloring is odd. She was the only one that had this coloration in the flock of 30 birds. All the domestic-wild hybrids I've see have been a ghost white coloration.

A buddy got this odd little buck with his muzzleloader. He didn't realize it was a buck until he walked up to it. The side the tag is on has 3 points, longest about 2". The other side has 2 points about an 1.5". Wonder what this would have grown into? Cactus rack maybe?

If I were this robin, I think I could have found a safer nesting site. I doubt if this nest is more than three feet off the ground. I'll be keeping the old Crossman ready for the neighbors cats. :smiley_cowboy:
