55 GALLON DIY SMOKER....

I knew there had to be some ugly drum smokers out there... Outdoorsfellow I see you have a lid on yours from another grill or smoker. One of the plans I was looking at said to use one... Wonder if being domed it helps in cooking....

It certainly gives you a bit more space. I've done a whole turkey for instance. It also provides space to have a pan of water if I want, underneath whatever meat is up on top. I could easily adjust to have a 2nd grate for that purpose if I chose to do so.
