We lost a good man this morning. I couldn't find a pic on my phone of him personally, but this pic was taken in his garage. RIP Papa Ron, you will be missed.
Papa Ron has had some medical problems over the last 6-7 years. It all started with hip replacements and snowballed from that. He was one of those guys that took a real chance at dying every time he took a drink. Yet he still would from time to time and always said he'd die having a good time. Well...I hope that last ride was worth it buddy! The pain has stopped for you and the rest of us will get over it in due time. I'm glad I took some time and sat down with you this summer. Keep your line tight and rod tip up!

That was a rough phone call...looks like we are gonna have an extra kid this summer. A teenage boy needs his uncle... He wanted me to fly up, I offered him my ticket to come here for the summer. I could see the smile through the phone...6'-4" stinky ass 15 year old boy, this should be fun! [emoji23]
Poor kid is taking it the hardest. Him and Papa Ron spent almost every day together. Bryan was Ron's right hand man the last few years. It'll be nice to get him outa the city and teach him some skills.
