I won't be shopping either store, along the same lines I wonder how long before some 18 yo files a lawsuit cause they say they won't sell to him cause they moved the age in their stores to 21, walmart did same ring, since federal law is 18yo? Thus violets the 18 yo rights, IMO

I am positive there are a bunch of lawyers ferociously typing up the class action lawsuit as we sit here.

10 to 1 that this was part of a mitigation strategy more so than the corporation taking a moral stance. Dicks admitted that the FL shooter purchased a weapon from one of their stores. Even though that weapon was not used in the shooting they are probably taking measures to insulate themselves from the tidal wave of law suits that will be coming.

I had a part time job at Dicks for about 8 months. Hunting and fishing wise they pretty much sucked. The bows on the rack were models over five years old and priced so high that no one would be interested. IRT to firearms, we sold plenty, but most were lower in and IMO over priced. I did buy my 17 WSM using my employee discount directly from Savage. I got 40% off.

F&S just opened a store in the Harrisburg Capital City Mall. IMO they are over priced but they do sell higher end equipment.

I have found that when it comes to firearms purchases your best bet is either Walmart or a local dealer. I special ordered my 300 WSM from Walmart and saved $200 over retail. My G20 10mm was $50 cheaper at a local gun dealer.

What did Kroger do?
They own a chain of stores out west called REI that is like a Wal-Mart, grocery and goods. They jumped on the 21 for purchase to include ammo and no AR bandwagon with Dicks and Wal-Mart

They own Fred Meyers I know, the only REI I know about is the hippy hiking/camping type store. I don’t know that I could boycott Kroger’s...I like food and the choices in my area aren’t that great.

I believe they are now anti conceal carry
Kroger has gone back and forth on the concealed carry issue for many years. Right after its passage they put up signs, most of them have been taken down due to public backlash, they left the signs in places that offered wine tasting because the old law prohibited carrying in those places. Some locations still have them some don't. Personally I don't even look for signs on businesses anymore, a stupid corporation isn't going to tell me I cant protect my family. I obviously obey federal and state prohibited places like schools, government buildings etc. But a private company can kiss my ass. Technically they could press trespassing charges if they somehow find out that i'm carrying and ask me to leave and i refuse. My stance on business sinage, fuck em.

Saw on news this morning where a female passenger on a plane flipped out and tried to open a door and was over come by other passengers and restrained. Like it has been said before, Crazy will always be amongst us and find away to take innocent lives no matter what weapons or vehicles they have at their disposal. The libtards need to take their heads out of the sand and realize that!

sportsmen have always paid the lion's share for all public land use and access with P-R monies, and it has always burned my ass how these granola eating, tree hugging fuckwads are not really on board with hunting or shooting, and are unwilling to pay to play. half of them are anti-hunting vegetarians. they need us way more than we need them. non-consumptive users of our nations public lands should pay something for it like we have for decades.
