Joe, this is not DOW survey. It is 3rd party agency (maybe Whitetail Unlimited or something like that) that will present to ODOW.
Yep, they got together and came up with the questions without the DNR interference.
Filed mine earlier this week. I’d suggest anyone taking it, it’s laid out real simple and gives a comment section after the questions. Only part I didn’t like was leaving my phone number. No one has called though[emoji23].
You can put in fake address and phone number ex: 614-111-1111. If they’re selling the information then the buyer won’t get anything useful out of what I gave them. If I win something, they can email me.

I personally think Whitetails unlimited is worthless like majority of the nonprofit conservation groups just looking to add members (money to their organization)
Agreed. I don't trust WU to take a kick-back from state wildlife agencies to fudge survey results.
I also have the same issue being told I've already completed it.
Opening it on my phone it's telling me I've already taken it. But I opened and took the survey just fine on a desktop PC. Strange.
I get what you're saying, Jon, about not trusting Whitetails Unlimited, but when I took the survey my impression (based on their choice of questions) is that they are displeased with the DOW and are looking for data to support they're viewpoint. Seemed like a fair survey to me. I'm very interested to hear back about the results.
One thing I was hard on the DOW about in the survey was the average 11% survey response rate for surveys over the past 5 years. It's 2018, people. Never in our history has it been easier to obtain public comment and opinion. If they are only getting 11% response and they aren't finding a way to quickly improve that number, someone needs a new job. That's unacceptable.
