Come on man be creative. Figure out how to attach a wood screw to a rod of some sort.

My T/C Hawkens came with such an adapter...

Yep, but so others aren't confused technically thats a bullet puller, a patch puller looks like two wire pinchers or a corkscrew.

Yes.. That is technically a bullet puller. I think that at this point he needs to find something that will somehow twist into towel and attach itself so he can pull it out.. I was also thinking maybe a metal 22 cal. cleaning brush. Snip the end off so its on the sharp side, and will push in and hopefully catch enough to pull out.

I would try the smallest wire brush attachment from a gun cleaning kit that you can find...seems like the bristles (when spun around) could easily attach to the cloth and "grab" it a little easier.

Good luck whichever route you go, hope you get it out.

Growing up in pA, used flintlock a lot. Pissed my old man off at least twice because I loaded a ball with no powder. Local gunsmith took care of it both times no problem, just a little humble pie.
