Just got out of the hospital on Friday. That was an ordeal. Long story short, woke up at 2 AM Thursday barfing and shitting my guts out. That continued till 8 AM and by that time the walls were closing in, something wasn’t right. Squad came and took me to the hospital. After 4 bags of fluids, my resting heart rate was 129 which after hydrating me should have come down. That freaked them out so they admitted me and started to look for blood clots. Full CT scan, X-ray, ultrasound on my legs…didn’t find anything. Then the fever hit..102.4. Miserable night. But by noon Friday, fever was gone, heart rate was 78 and I was sent home. Some kind of nasty virus. All is good though . The worst parts were icing me down when I was already shivering my ass off, and nothing by mouth (went 40 hours without eating). Fucking torture.
