Just wanted to see if anyone has ever went for wild pigs in or around patriot ohio. A few friends and me are looking at maybe trying to hunt a few. Any info would be appreciated!
Thanks,

Follow Simms creek and follow the bottom into the thick stuff. I've seen a few with my own eyes down that way. Careful of the locals and make sure you don't leave anything of value in your truck. That area has its fair share of "backwoods folk" and if you ain't in with them, just smile and keep walking. I'd rather take a stroll on a back alley in the middle of the city, then bump into those guys at night.

I've heard nothing but bad things about the new GW in that area also.

Luckily, I happen to be like family to those boys! Been stomping that area for 20 years. I still won't leave my truck on the side of the road or in any parking areas. I honestly don't think it's still be there when I returned.

It's only about 45 minutes from my house to the intersection of 141 and 238 I think is what I seen. A guy that's going with us has been there but it been several years since he's been there. I haven't seen any signs of them in the Crown City wildlife area. It's about 15 minutes from my house. We do a lot of rabbit hunting in that wildlife area.

They must stay after them hard if they don't get any bigger than 35 lbs. Was hoping for something about 150 lbs. I think we'll go check it out tomorrow. We'll see how it goes.

Hogs in Ohio are few and far, if you ever go to Disney Land go a hour north and spend $200 on a hunt in Florida, rather than spending 10k in gas/time chasing ghosts in Ohio
