My new scope for my TC Encore muzzleloader has arrived. It's a Nikon BDC 300.
It's supposed be a 300 yard bullet drop compensating scope. It will be interesting to try this deer season. I may have to change my stategy and sit on top the highest high wall with my range finder and Harris bipod. If I hunt gun season this combo should change up my hunting habits a bit.

Here she is, Xmas in July.

My deer gun has completed its summer overhaul. It’s now ready to be bench and field tested for the 300 yard shot.

TC Encore Stainless Steel 50 cal. Magnum
Nikon BDC 3x9x40 scope
Harris pivoting 13”x27” folding bipod
Butler Creek Blizzard Scope caps
300 grain shock wave sabot bullets
150 grain Triple 777 pellets
209 Winchester primer

It’s inevitable now that I’ll be tagged out before gun season.
