If you are in central Ohio get your ass on the woods and now! Went to pull a card on a cam. Had a shooter dogging a doe grunting every step not 40 yards up the hill. Was still pushing her around when I left..
Walked 500 yards to grab a seat cushion. I used in a stand sat and Sunday without any action.. I get 90 yards from the stand and hear grunting every breath.. Out shoots a doe into the field amd a upper 140 class 10 was on her ass. Nose down grunting.. She saw me and stopped. He neber once took his eyes off her and looked at me... He snuck up for a sniff and she took off. With him in tow grunting up a storm.

If I had a sitter for my kids I'd be out. Grandma needs a break today. Plus, looking like rain. Time to do a speed cut of the lawn and get back in the saddle tomorrow evening.
My buddy just texted me. the rain just started and he has a small 8 dogging a doe around his stand. Two other small bucks chasing in the field.
Saw two single does and a small 8 point... No chasing or dogging.... The does were by them selves and nothing was behind them..... FML......
Yeah, did you see the Jefferson county #'s???? Man that's depressing.... I haven't hunted Jefferson in a about 5 years but man the deer down there were great.... Always had between 8-10 on an average day.....
Jefferson –494 (739) 2011/2010 first six weeks of season from this year and last and they were down last year from 2009.....
Wow! I know all my buddies that hunt haven't seen crap during this rut. Cynergy is the only one I know that connected so far. My neighbor took this whole week off and started his all day hunts last Saturday. He called me today and said he's only seen 6 bucks and none shooters.

the bucks are chasing tail like a 17 yr old teenage boy here in washington county this is the first day of good action it's only gonna get better folks better get your arses on the side of a tree and stay all day
