I would have too agreed too a point, but and there's always a but.... They're migrating the metropolis of Salem these days.............. rotflmao

I hear ya J, it's like plague that spreads slowly and infiltrates every crack it can slide into.

Wal-mart is an amazing place... And the dynamics change depending on the day of the week, and the time of the day. If I want to go and people watch there's nothing like a Friday or Saturday night al Wally World. Good God the people and things that you can see are amazing, and like Brock said, somewhat saddening. It does make you think, "have these people all but given up on life? How can you actually leave the house and enter society looking like that?"

Airport & malls are good places too. You see the full spectrum of people who you just want to punch in the face through people that are genuinely good people. The one that irritates me to no end is the guy wearing a blue tooth, walking though the place, talking the whole time, with no regard to anybody around him. It's his world. We're just living in it.

Sad, but true! :smiley_clap:

People used too be somewhat considerate back in the day not so much anymore..... What used too be the norm is really missing these days.... Opening doors for people, a greeting like good morning or how you doing have been replaced with I'm in a hurry and the the fugg out of my way..... :smiley_confused_vra

Seattle is the best place to people watch. You can't go five feet with out seeing some kind of weirdo. Las vagas is a pretty good place too. Yeasterday I saw a crack head jumping on invisible spiders on one side of the street and on the other side of the street was a hooker wearing footy pajamas.

Jessica and I went to the zoo last summer on a hot day. We were more amazed watching the people than the animals. We literally just got something to drink and sat on a bench for like 2 hours.

Wife and I were at the mall and Walmart tonight Christmas shopping (yes I earned mega bonus points for those two feats). I was saddened, disgusted, and a couple of times turned on. What a cross section of America.

Remember when there were only one or two electric wheelchairs or just regular ones which weren't powered? Not anymore. Saw man boobs, armless guy, a bazillion fat people, a couple hotties, and everything in between. Watched a fat old lady yell at her 4-5yr old to "get over here!" Just so she could smack her. What a disgrace our country has become. That said, I still wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Lol

That is one that pisses me off to no end. Then they jump on an electric wheelchair to ride around. Next they come out, fail to put their cart away, and leave. Shortly after you will see a 70-80-90yr old frail woman come out and walk past the handicapped spaces. She will take forever to get there, unload her cart, then take the time to put her cart in the corral.

You know the difference? The older female was raised with self pride, respect, and responsibility. If ever I see one of these, I make sure to help them put their cart away so they don't have to walk across the lanes. If I see them after putting their cart away, I will give them an arm to escort back to the vehicle. Most of the time I see this when we are plowing. I will stop an entire lane of traffic to help a little old lady like this. I don't care.

It isn't me you should praise. It is my parents and Grandma that preached it to me to be a gentleman. Sadly, there aren't enough that are taught this.

It isn't something I do for acknowledgement. I do it because it SHOULD be done. Can't tell you how many times I have gotten out of a plow truck or bobcat to do this.

Little story. Graci was 2months old. It was Christmas Eve. It starts snowing like mad. I leave to go plow. I am in the skidloader at a nursing home/assisted living. I am literally teary eyed missing my first child's first Christmas Eve. I look up and an old man probably late 70s was helping an older lady probably late 80s up to the door. I motion for them to wait one second. I make a pass in front of them which clears about half the snow on their path to the door. Park the skiddy in the middle of the lane and hop out. Helped them both to the door. She was ECSTATIC! It was like watching a child. She said "I can't remember the last time we had snow like this on Christmas. I didn't think I would make it to midnight mass. Then my nephew called and said he was leaving to get me." I tell you what people, it was ag this moment I realized God had a job for me to do that night. I flat bad about missing Graci's first Christmas Eve but she was 2mo old and wouldn't remember it. If not for guys like me or the road crew guys, little old ladies like this could possibly miss their last Christmas Eve. I knew God wanted me out there plowing that night. I wiped my tears of self pity away and finished my route with a smile. My point: you never know who you are helping or how most of the time, but your actions or inaction can make a difference.

Phil, you still have the decision too do what you were taught as a child.... Lots of people are schooled on the right things too do in life and choose not too do them.... I still stand by my statement that you're a good man..... Lots of people go through life and justify their decisions on whatever is convenient for the moment.... Seems fewer find the right thing too do is easy enough too do.....:smiley_coolpeace:

You know the problem with Walmart as I see it, they have got the prices so low that people can actually live on Government assistance. Therefore, this is much of the crowd you see at Walmart. If they'd raise some prices those people would have to get a job! rotflmao
