Audrey is flying out of Akron Canton airport tomorrow morning to go to the national burn camp in D.C. There is only 52 cares that get to go to this camp, 1 from every state and 2 from Canada. I am so excited because of the things we have heard about past camps and the experiences that they get to have.
The camp is actually located in Maryland just outside of D.C. When they go into D.C. They will have 4 secret service agents with them because of the places they are going to be visiting. I know she is going to get to go to the White House and of the president is available she will get to meet him. In the past the campers have done some really cool things that no one else really gets to do. Like go to the mint and take the sheets of money of the press as they are rolling out, visit the basement of the White House.
Last year Jason Aldine showed up at the camp and sat around the fire and gave the campers a private concert. Willie from duck dynasty bought a loughe for a hockey game for the campers and then came and visited them during the game. The itinerary hasn't been announced yet so we don't know exactly what Audrey is going to get to experience, but I for one am very excited about her once in a lifetime experience she is going to get to have this next week.
