Dead silent right now. By the time I went in and ate, took a quick nap they have made another scrape by the one I just put my camera on. Camera pull revealed a target buck here every other night, right at dark.
It's warmer than I thought, so I sweat like a whore getting here. Flushed 23 wood ducks off a small pond on the way in. I need to remember that! Hoping to see something entertaining tonight.
I gotta find a new way to this stand! I am still sweaty. Used to I would walk the corn...corn gone and I have to walk a good mile to get to the stand around the field. Hate walking the middle (announcing your presence) and the near edge is bedding.

Just talked to a property owner. Complaints of too many deer by the house. Told him I try not to hunt by their house out of respect for them and privacy. He said "I don't care if you hunt on my porch at this point." Lol. Guess I will throw out a blind and put some meat in the freezer. Might be where Garrett hunts with his crossbow. Give the little man a chance.

5 does and not a buck to be seen. I hung my stand for standing corn, so that screwed me. All 23 wood ducks came back though, so I know what the next hunt on this farm will be!!! Been listening to them scream all evening. Been one of my best sits ever.
