Good luck out there this weekend fellas! Birds today, bucks tomorrow for me. Early waterfowl is over tomorrow and it'll be time to jump in head first after a big old buck. Someone capture a giant today!

Finishing my coffee as well. Looks like it already rained here. Going to be a great morning to sit over scrapes. If they aren't hitting the scrapes, I don't care. That means the next phase of the rut has hit and the most important part of my hunting will be to put seat time in. Good either way!

Best of luck to you all!

Can't help but feeling the urge to pull out the mouth calls and turkey vest. Feels like turkey season!

Dark night, cool morning, slight drizzle, 7 mph wind, beginning of November, couldn't have made a better day to deer hunt if I thought of it myself.

Very active morning so far. Was settled in about 20 till 7. Had a deer come right under my stand and couldn't even tell what it was. About seven minutes later had one blowing to my east about 40 yds away. Could have been the same one for all I know. Just after legal shooting light heard another one blowing to the north east but it was far enough away I don't think it was blowing at me. About 8 I spotted what looked to be a doe about 70 yards to the south. I felt like she was staring a hole through me, but she wasn't. She was staring at the doe and yearlong that was coming up behind me. I shot the doe and heard her crash about 80 yds away. Just going to chill for a while and see what else I can see.

Gusting wind spitting rain. The spot I intended to sit is flooded, sitting in the cove instead. I've seen buck cruise through here in the morning before, we shall see.

Karissa and I had a doe and small one slip in at 7:55 then came on in. Laid down some nice footage as they slipped in on our DW. She through her head up and was on alert a few seconds then came on in and walked past us up into the beanfield.:)
