Shined and walk up on a 1 1/2 year old buck pon the way in. Small doe and fawn just went under me. She had a double throat patch, may have been the fawn I took pics of last year...?

I've seen four more, all bucks. One good buck hot after a doe, three others looking for one to chase. Just got a text from home. Mason is sick so I'll be quitting early again!
I'm out in my popup. This date has special meaning for me as well. Nothing moving yet. I wanna try & sit here all morning.
Three doe nothing in tow... Two different deer earlier before daylight one big bodied one on search mode.... 50 yards in front of me but just anle too make out its shape is all. Beautiful starlit walk too the stand interrupted by a yote tipping at me half way too the stand... Scared the crap out of me hahaha... I sweat that little fugger was following me lol.....

Got in late. Up at 4am. Fell back to sleep. Walked in just before 7 with an arrow nocked. Not freaking cool. Saw one smaller bodied deer take off. Any seat time this time of year is good. So I keep telling myself. Windy as all get out and warm. Haven't even put on jacket yet. Some of these hunts with low expectations turn out to be some of the best ones though. Sitting until it rains or as long as I can stand it. Should be working, but it is November for crying out loud! Lol
Windy and wrong wind so I hung it up after waking up late. Needed to get some estimates done anyway. Not much of a morning hunter. Weren't we supposed to have teleportation by now?

To repeat what Brock said, if your not seeing it MOVE! Just had a buck chasing a doe right as I just walked up here and got in my stand
Finally saw 3 does. Appeared to be momma with fawns. Momma was huge. No bucks in tow. Worked their way in within 50 yds downwind and bolted. Chew spit is all i can figure unless they didn't like the Ever calm where they cut my tracks. First hunt with this gear right out of tote after a washing. Smoked up good. Don't know. Wind puts them on high alert it seems.
Just had a close up and personal 30 minute stare down with a 6 point. He finally gave up and walked away lol. Winner!!!!!!!!! lol
My buddy just texted me that he passed on a 130" 8 point that he will kick himself for later. They may be on the move.
Just realized I forgot to wash the blood off my boots from Sunday. Smoked them up and applied Ever Calm to them but do you think it might have been the old blood? This is bothering me. Ready to hang it up to go home and wash these off.
I had one of my resident funky looking bucks come chasing a doe out of the Lot & right past me just like the other day at 0808. Nuttin else.
