Good to see that they survived the winter. I think that Stark county has enough agricuture that they had plenty of food sources.

Those 2 pics were taken approximately 500 yards from each other on the same side of the road. That's the most I've seen at once since early season.

I love seeing these nice sized deer "yards" or whatever they are. It's been quite a few years since the deer have done this in the field behind our house. There is precedence though and I remember one late winter evening when I counted 60+ deer in the field behind our house maybe 8-10 years ago. But crop fields change from year to year and so the deer herd up in whatever field suits their needs. This year it happens to be the field behind my house. My highest deer count was 46 on February 12th. Most evenings it is in the low 30's. The picture is from last Friday afternoon taken out of the upstairs window in the back of my house. 15 deer in the front group. 12 deer in the far away group and another 10 or so in the rest of the field outside the view of the camera. It sure has been a good winter for watching deer. If I ever see the bare ground ever again, I'm excited to walk this field looking for sheds.

I remember when I was a kid going deer spotting in upstate NY. We saw something like 800 one night.
Damn you got a hell of a view out of your window bluedog! They were out in the field again this evening.
This group of does crossed right in front of me today. The last one in line had to attempt to jump the fence twice, it got caught up the first time lol
