Thank you for your condolences guys/girls. I had a Grandma for 43 years so she was in essence a second mother to me. We were both blessed though it pains me to have lost her.
Services will be Saturday and I'm a Pallbearer.
I'm one of 14 Grandchildren. Grandma had 33 Great Grandchildren too.
My daughter wrote Grandma "A Goodbye Card", its convincing done well for a 9 year old. It shows what an open, pure, innocent heart little kids have. I get choked up every time I read it. Grandma will be buried with it along with other "love notes" from her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
I'll miss yet another weekend of deer hunting plus the following weekend for a Children's Cancer Charity fundraiser.
So, it looks like my deer season will now begin Nov 3. I've never began this late in the year. My original plan was to take my 6 year old son down south this weekend for 3 bow hunts....maybe mid November now after the peak rut.
