I dont really think this is dump worthly by i have been a little disappointed how my morning duck hunt went.
its hard to tell but those are two hooded merganzers that landed in my decoys Right after i limited out. I know i shouldn't complain considering i limited out by 9 am on mallards ringnecks and blue wing teal. Thats not counting all the American widgoen and buffleheads i let fly right past me. However i have wanted a hooded merganzer drake on my wall for a long time and this is the first time i have ever seen one while hunting.
The cold weather from the north sure has the birds moving. The last three days ive hunted in the morning til noon at the latest then go home work from 3pm-11 pm and sleep from midnight til 5am. If a warm front doesnt roll in to ruin the flying ill probably be dead by thursday. Lol
Bitter sweet limit for sure.
