Major big project that will take Big Bro ( CJD ) and I all summer, fall, maybe winter. Lowering the lake to try and #1 try and do something and kill the dang lily pads and also clean up fallen trees along the bank. We have a damn and a over flow that has plugs in it, jack the top plug and lower the water level then go down in the over flow and jack out the second plug. CJD is the one doing the grunt work.

When it dries up enough we want to spray the lily pads and hope it goes down and kills the roots. I want to have a TOO outing and have ATV races to rip the roots out, lol.

This sucks with all the rain!!! We have one plug all the way out and the second plug which is lower in the overflow is 3/4's + out. I looked my deck this morning and think we lost ground, another words the water level went up. Ugggggggg.

Come on up Bigslam51 when we finally get the level down and it dries up.

I took a few last week, nothing earth shattering, but definitely signs of spring. Daffodils, emerging May Apples and last falls fallen beech leaves hanging on to the bitter end.
