Pretty awesome video. According to what I read, this ball is hitting the plate @ 150mph. The top pros are lucky to get 130mph.

CRAZY.

Makes you wonder how they can shape a shot and make the ball go where they want lol. If they get the ball to flaten out half of what it does in the video you would think it would just flop every witch way and never go straight lol.

Good thing I can't get a clubhead speed much over 90 lmao.

Very interesting video, I love watching hi speed slo mo stuff. I just wonder what that golf ball would do out of my potato gun....hmmm...I chronographed it at 635fps, chances are the golf ball weighs as much but probably less than the size potato I use. If that's the case then I could send that golf ball into a piece of steel at roughly 432.95 mph....Oh yaaaaaaaa, gotz me a new video to film...lol

depending on hom much accelerant you use , it breaks , we use butan and it hits a cement block hard enough to crack the block and break chunks off the ball , we dont know how far our farthest shot with a golf ball is , cause we havent found one that we have shot yet , but we can get taters out there 180 yards and sometimes farther

You wouldn't think that you could be accurate at all watching a arrow in flight...

Interesting on the cement block and golf ball. We have sent tators through 1" thick partical board, the kind used for tables and counter tops, standing at 20yds. I also have sent a tator on a complete pass through on a thick 5 gallon bucket at 20 yds. I am ready to take on a golf ball now...lol

Man all this talk of filming and potatoe guns got me thinking. Just add in a hockey goaley outfit and you got a great audition for the next Jackass movie. :smiley_crocodile:rotflmao:pickle:

We could have a get together and all of us have on goaley outfits and line up and walk like the metal duck targets. :smiley_crocodile:rotflmao

Whats your favorite hair spray for the spud gun?
I'll have to go see if I can find what I used... I think it was Aqua net. kinda purple and silver can.
They say the cheaper, the better for ignition. I have a 2"ID barrel on my bad boy...
Hay... That gives me an Idea for a thread.
