I definitely enjoyed myself! Brian was able to get me back in my groove with that bow.

Dave, you are correct, I'm cursed with an addictive personality and can't just dabble in something.

Here is my first group this morning off the back deck.

I'm feeling good about my shooting lately. Have been 'getting home' to my anchor/full draw consistently.

Mentally I remind myself to keep all movement 'straight back' when drawing and releasing if that makes sense. Still hammering home keeping my bow arm up for a nice follow through.

In a good groove of haveing the shot go off and not anticipating it at all.

Still out hunting when i can, been shooting some shots before i head out.
John came down last week to shoot his new Bear recurve he made a hell of a trade for.
He shot pretty well and it is a nice bow,the trad bug is creeping in on him.lol

Also put a new string on my bow Friday and got it all set up with silencers for the string groove and some on the string and brush buttons yesterday,0121171313b.jpg0121171313c.jpgseems like all the stretch is out of it now so set the brace height at 8.5,will shoot it some today and see how that works out, brass nock set is 1/2 inch above center.
Nice thing is how easy it is to work on and set these bows up.
Shot a few shots in the house at 12 yards after getting the new string on and everything setup, shot great, will go back to 18 yds in the house after a few tweeks.lol
Then will head outside and shoot some at 20 and 25.

All set up and ready to go.
Will get back out in the woods on tuesday and looks like some colder weather later in the week.
Now if some of the bucks will keep their racks on a little longer, have 4 or 5 half racks running around now.
