The one I got a tag for he wanted to see the carcass and how it was laying. We decided it was likely hit by a car. It is frustrating we can't call in to get a tag for a dead head, but at the same time it is good to know my local WO is concerned and wants to ensure the thing wasn't poached. Didn't bother me that I had to wait on him to get the time to tag it. If it was 140 or bigger, I might have gotten a little nervous waiting. I didn't think anyone was going to snag this 1.5yr old dink deadhead though. If they did it would not have bothered me any.

That's pathetic!!! Sounds like a state desperate for funds and looking for anyway to make money TOO me!

I doubt that they make very much money on it as I think anyone who wants to keep them just simply take it or make them "naturally shed". Always funny on the PA board that I am on when someone who doesn't know the rule posts a pic holding a deadhead and all the internet police jump on him.

I guess that could be good in a way. If they are working on a poaching case in the area, there could be evidence there that may help in the prosecution.

Yes I agree but I was meaning PA's intent to make money.

Good job T! The overcast sky this weekend was perfect if you had sheds laying on the ground you were walking! Congrats buddy!
