I understand the whole free speech thing but this is not the time, Place or the way to do it. I don't understand how anyone can think that this bs is ok. To me its anti American and goes against everything that we as Americans believe in. Imo anyone who is ok with this type of bs is not an American. Sorry but this is how I feel.

Sorry but I honestly believe that anybody still watching NFL is part of the problem.

Twireman that is fuggin funny!

I feel the same way but was a little concerned about posting it 1st. But since it's out of the bag that feeling is 100% correct.
Either lead, follow me, or get the hell out of the way.

We are at such an impasse that I don't see a way back. Take racism. It is mild but it will always be around. Most of us (over 95%) aren't racist. We go about our lives and try to be good people. We expect others to take care of them and theirs, like we do.

White Liberals are the true racist in my mind. They have a soft bigotry of low expectations that holds minority communities down. They see minorities as weak, helpless and incapable of doing anything for themselves. I see them as me. Take care of you and yours, work sufficiently hard and try to be good people to all and your family/community will prosper.

I watch the browns every weekend. It's already disappointing enough.

I disagree with it. and often wonder what my great grandfather would say if he could see what is happening now.

I'll continue to watch the browns as long as it doesn't get any worse than kneeling.

I watch a game or 2 on Sunday and usually the one on Monday. Before I turned on the T.V. this last Sunday, I saw the news feeds on Facebook about the players protesting. I said screw it and didn't watch a single game and I don't plan on starting anytime soon. It's absolute bullshit that someone can disrespect our flag and be considered a hero for doing so.

What every NFL team did last weekend.
IMHO everyone who did it should be fired now. Think what you may but that is my thought.

Then you are no better than the people that wanted bakers shut down for not making cakes at gay weddings and that ceo that lost his job because he supported a bill that wouldn't allow gays to marry. It's controversial speech that needs to be protected, not speech everyone agrees with. However I do support your right to not watch the games and if the NFL loses enough money I guarantee every player will be standing.

Yep. I don't like fascistic moves from any direction. Voice your opinion and then stop watching/supporting.

Enough people do it then changes will be made. Can't force anyone to do anything that isn't unlawful. Liberty...

FYI I supported the bakers 100% and I stand beside the CEO being fired 100%. Plus I agreed 100% with the KY lady who refused to issue gay marriage licenses.

So basically your position is I want the right to my beliefs but if you disagree with me screw off? Pretty un-American dont you think?

I have 0 desire to support the NFL at this point. Choosing to protest and demonstrate against the very folks who are protecting them within the comforts of these lavish stadiums amazes me.

I agree with those who have voiced their displeasure in the platform and lack of "doing" to drive positive change. Lead events to bring communities together. Use your "star status" to facilitate positive growth and education for communities and LEO.

The division that has been driven into our culture over the past 8 + years is astonishing.

I watch as much sports as anyone. Im in some high dollar fantasy leagues. I'be watched a total of maybe a whole game combined throughout the first 3 weeks. I watch sports to forget about the real world, not to see people using any excuse they can to disrespect the same flag that was draped over my father, grandfather, and uncles coffins. I respect anyones first amendment rights when applied properly and respectfully. But this is bullshit. Media driven, driven by a toolbag of a dickhead president who had every chance to give people some home tjat voted against politicians. Much like Obama and Holder fanning the racial flames, Trump is just fanming them from the other end now.

There is not a single player in the NFL that can claim any kind of oppression bullcrap. Every American has the exact same rights under the law, protected by the Constitution. This foolishness started with that clown kneeling, not because he's oppressed, but because he is an idiot. Trump made an error bringing it up in conversation, though I agree with his statement... ANY player doing that crap should be terminated immediately. The rest of these morons decided to "take a knee" in support of the original moron who refused to stand. They can all kiss my south end while I head north.

I only wish I had wasted time and money on the NFL previously so that my lack of participation in anything to do with the NFL would be felt. Keep in mind that the vast majority of these morons made it through school, (NFL minor league) without the ability to spell their own names... I don't think I will be taking any advice from them on perceived societal woes.
