If not, the real douche bags are the ones who said/assumed it was and started the rumors.

Yeah I guess I fucked up and assumed it was fair chase since that's what 5 million other people were saying and I didn't see him deny it.

At the very least he is a douche for leaving a 280" buck in the back of his truck for 2 days. Seems pretty ironic that it would disappear right after the proof came to light. Makes you wonder if he did tag it illegally and is trying to avoid prosecution. Of course if he is doing that he is just digging a hole deeper if the truth comes out.
I don't really care if someone wants to shoot a farm deer and pay thousands for it but man I don't get it. I don't understand posting it on Facebook and bragging about it like you are some great Hunter. The only thing you did was pull the trigger. Whatever floats your boat I guess.

Although there is no post of him saying it was fair chase, he did transport it back to a farm that he leases and act like it was shot from there. Also many many people went to check out this deer in person and was told it was fair chase and many were backing him up on Facebook until the evidence was undeniable
So what is the drive to do this type of thing? Money? Hey I killed this monster here, now lease the property for XXX,XXX amount of dollars? Advertising scam type of thing, that’s all I can figure.
With all the cameras out these days a big buck can’t scratch his ass without everyone within his 5 sq mile range knowing when and where it happened so pulling a stunt like this is just plain STUPID!
