When you hear that phrase what do you think of? How many more inches of antler will her have next year? Will he make the book? How old is he? How many times do they disappear never to be seen again? I think about this stuff all the time. Over the last few years I've finally had the opportunity to see and get pictures of a few bucks over a number of years and more often than not the jump from one year to the next hasn't been that significant. What year do you guys think a buck makes his biggest jump? Please add you pics if you have some. I have a couple I can share. I'll start with my buck from this year. I did have a few pics of him last year and did have a couple of opportunities where I elected to pass. Body wise, he matured significantly. His rack added width and mass but very little in length. I believe he was likely 2.5 in 2016 and 3.5 this year. Is he in line with the type of growth you see in your area?
