Pulled the card yesterday from the trailcam, which has been set since April 18th, and was pleased to find it loaded with a little over a 1000 pictures. I have it hanging on a small tree facing south, pointing at a salt block and mineral block in the middle of a food plot. This is a really good spot for early season pics because it's close to bedding areas, a watering hole, food (of course), and it's fairly isolated. Probably about 80% of the pics I've gotten so far have been daytime pics. It looks like there are a ton of deer hanging around, as usual, so I'm pretty excited for the upcoming hunting season. Here are just a few that I thought were pretty good pics... I'll keep adding to this thread as the season progresses. Notice how much the food plot has grown in just a month's time.

Should be some fawn showing up soon from the looks of some of those does.

Man, I gotta get my camera out.

I had quite a few pictures of does lookin like they were ready to pop. Hopefully on this next round of pics there will be some little ones running around. I gotta get that plot mowed though, so they keep a strong interest in it.

Checked the cam last saturday on the way down to Myrtle Beach. I didn't get any big boys recently, but some good pics nonetheless. Surprisingly, I had a bunch of turks caught on camera... I guess they are paying special attention to the clover plot just like the deer. Aside from some patchy, weedy spots, the clover in this plot is doing really well. It'll probably get mowed again in a few weeks... that should help knock back some of those weeds.

Looks like the food plot you put in is helping all the critters Jim! Love seeing the fawns. Not sure why, but I do. The last picture you have looks like a buck with some potential!

Looks like you gotta a doe herd on that property! Have you been seeing any good ones?

Last season I had four good ones running around. The smallest of the four is the only one that I know of that got killed. One of the big tens had a split in one of his ears, and I confirmed it to be him on a few pics about two months ago. Unfortunately, I have not gotten any pics of him or the other two since then. I have a feeling where they're at... It's just hard to pin them down exactly. I moved the cam to a new, more secluded spot yesterday so hopefully I get some better results.

Sweet good luck bud.... The only reason I asked was bc I have a plot just like this that had 3 decent bucks, 1 was a shooter for sure showing up and then I pulled the card two days ago and didnt have a single buck on it! Now i know they are moving to bean fields this time of year and the pattern changes alot, so I was glassing the other day and low and behold one of the bucks was 1/4 mile away in a bean field. Going in about a hour to hang a cam on him, he was mid to low 30's last year as a 8pt and even bigger this year. Good luck on the new cam location
