Well I finally got out to check the cam. I jumped a dandy of a buck about 80-100 yards from my camera. Unfortunately he was not in any of the pics. Nothing great, but it's a start.

Nice pics. Should be fun watching them this summer and seeing if any big boys show up.

How good are night pics on that Cam ?

There weren't many night pics. There was one series of a doe, but I thought she was hard to pick out of all the foliage. My first impression of the infrared is subpar.

Gotta love the bushnells, Ive found that once season rolls around and night pics become more prevelant I switch to 5MP. For some reason they take much cleared pics at night on 5mp.
Hopefully that big boy will show up sooner or later on cam, at least hes in the area! Keep em coming

Nice pics...However..I feel the same about bushnell..Night pics are subpar and if the deer is moving the picture is blurry..I sent the Bushnell trophy cam back that i recently purchased..I do have 2 of the older models...but they to have blurry night pics..I beleive im gonna order the Cuddeback Attack Ir sometime this week.

I'll be heading out sometime this weekend to pull my sd card. Any thoughts on adding any supplemental feed? I have a trophy rock over some commercial mineral mix that has been out for about 4 weeks. How long will they last? Do I need to have more minerals/rock with me when I head in this weekend?

Oh, the neighbor's like to steal my salt blocks (brown or white) so now I use the cubed pelletized salt that used in water softner systems.
They can only steal those by the pocket full now :)

I had someone on public land steal mine once. I found it later in the year.. I knew it was mine because i drilled a hole through it and busted the corners off so i could drag it the mile to my stand... When I found it I added a little "Block Topper"...

That's so subtle, it's brilliant! Hilarious!!!

Don't sweat it Schu. They are in there and waiting for you. Just haven't showed up for the camera yet. Good luck this year!

Agreed with the others Schu, the three biggest bucks I seen this year were ones that we had never seen before, and a buddy of mine runs cams the property adjacent to the one I hunt.

Thanks for sharing!

Pics weren't any better this week. I may move the cam when I get back from vacation. I did add a crunch block to my camera site. We'll see what happens.
