Started on finishing the garage today. Took the better part of my day to clean it to the point of having room to work. Cleared the wall and now have it sheeted with OSB. I'll build shelves on this wall to accompany some clothes hangers and a nice cabinet I picked up for free. Once this wall I done, I can shift all the stuff over so I can paint the block on the other side. Hope to be done by the end of the month. It'll be a huge help having this done!

Looking good Jesse. That area has come a LONG way from the days when you couldn't even see the back wall. There used to be a red jeep tucked in there and everything but we still made room for beer pong:pickle:

Dang Jesse, you been killin it. Nice work.

Got a huge honey do list for this spring as Audrey is graduating. A couple of them got knocked out today. The wife wanted to mulch the flower beds and get a new floor in the bathroom. I picked up 3 yds of mulch yesterday and the wife mulched the flower beds while I laid a new floor.

Here is the floor with the carpet on it.

Tore out with partial 1/4" luan.

Full luan laid and then with the new linoleum.

Thanks fellas.

Here's another one that I've been plucking away at over the past couple weeks when I have a sharp chain and some extra time.

This was the largest tree on my property and I hated to see it go, but so goes life. If you look real close, you can see the transmission line going into the woods in the back ground.

We're hoping to list our house in June, so I have some projects to take care of before then. Working on our straiway today. Paint and trim need redone. Grabbed the trim I bought this morning and within 20 minutes, had perfectly matched the stain. That year I spent working at Sherwin-Williams paid off today! Light coat of golden oak, heavy coat of English chestnut and a light coat of gunstock.

Drywall hung and started the mud work. Did some chaulk work around the shower today too. Also popped the trim off around the door and started tearing drywall off that wall. I'll get some more done tomorrow and hope to be ready to tear our the vanity and floor this weekend.

Yep. My neighbor did it for me and I was the grunt help. We also used the interlock system for the generator hook up.
