Bobcat & Little One's

Been meaning to post these for a while now. My last camera pull I found a female bobcat and 2 little one's! Wish the pics were better but maybe next time.

Awesome pics man. Always cool to see pics other than deer. Did you place the cam there just for that reason?

Just wait til they start feeding on fawns and poults. I hope we don't get a bunch of them around here but I believe it's only a matter of time.

It's funny you say that, not long after the awww how cute they are and I found a trail cam video on FB showing a bobcat pouncing on a fawn taking it down. Like my wife said, a few squirrels and an occasional rabbit is OK.....but the fawn sucked LOL!

I didn't set it up there just for them as there is a good deer trail coming down from the top right of the pic to the middle and they cross the stream there. I moved it from there and have it looking down the stream now so should get head on or walking away pics of them hopefully.

Only seen one last year. Out checking cams after dark with my dog. Had no idea where it was till it took off when we were extremely close, just took a few pounces and sat and watched us. My dog ran off back to the truck....
Last year I got more bobcat pictures than I did coyote, by alot. Knock on wood, I've been extremely impressed by the fawn/poult numbers. I too am uneasy about them coming back,

Very cool pics. Of all the bobcat pics I get I've never had little ones. Even though it sucks losing fawns and poults it is natures way of keeping the genetics clean.
Covert cams are possibly the best with battery life but I gave up on them because moving pics are always blurry.

This camera is I believe around 5 years old now and used to take nice and clear daytime pics. This past year I've noticed more and more blur. Thinking about switching it with a Red 40 I got working a couple weeks ago. What cameras do you have the most confidence in now Spencie?
