My father handed over a camera he got on sale last year and hasn't used it yet. This camera seems pretty neat since it should be able to take pictures in a complete 360 degree field. It has a 360 degree sensor and wherever it senses movement the camera spin on a spindle inside the unit to snap the pic. It's a fantastic design idea, but we will see over the coming weeks if it functions well.
Setup: Fairly extensive set up, it features a blue backlit screen when you power it on which is the entire settings menu. I had to refer to the booklet to learn what each setting did, to get it set up for my own uses. So for someone not friendly with technology, this may be a bad option!
For testing, I've set this bad boy up in my backyard for now. I'm not positive if I will move it to my hunting property, depends on what we see. I put it on a bamboo stake up next to the woods and the next day put out some corn around it.
First check: checked it the very next day after dumping corn. Was surprised that I had 3 bucks come through that evening. I'm hoping they were running because the quality was not the best. Could only tell that one buck was fairly nice but the quality was not there to say exactly how nice. Not sure if it was due to the camera spinning 180 to shoot behind, the IR, the deer running or a combination of all 3. I should have saved them to post but I formatted the card and stuck it back in. Will post future pics and continue the review as more data comes in.
Anyone that's used these, feel free to chime in! This is my first wild game innovations camera I have tried out, I've honestly shied away from them in the past.
