Not pleased about the 180 wind switch at 3PM. Going to force a move if it does do that.

Up to 6 does and 3 bucks. Was worth the long walk even if I do have to move later.

You did the right thing...if it didn’t feel right, you would’ve regretted it. When the right one trips your trigger, you’ll know...and you’ll get much more enjoyment out of the harvest. Still lots of season left.

Climbed down at 12:30. If the wind really does flip 180 at 4PM, I didn't want to risk burning that stand out and educating buck numero uno on the target list. Got some grub, then crawled in the ground blind. Saw 2 slick heads already. No hopes other than a pleasant sit. All I hear is the creek!
