Bub, we gonna smash you in the playoffs.

Despite a win over Michigan the committee shouldn't forget about the complete ass whipping by unranked 6-6 Purdue, struggled to a 1 point win over Penn st, barely beat 8 loss Nebraska in a struggle, squeaked by Michigan State, and had to go in to overtime against Maryland. Now they win one game against Michigan and all of a sudden they belong in the playoffs somehow. Even if they win the Big 10 title against number 19 Northwestern and #5 Georgia loses to Alabama, both Georgia and OU belong in the #4 spot above OSU. A win over a #19 team should not put them ahead of a #5 team who loses to the #1 team.

If OSU wins Big Ten title and Alabama wins SEC and Texas beats Oklahoma again. Who gets in? Not saying Buckeyes deserve to be in especially as underwhelming as they have played through the season but Georgia will be a 3 loss team Oklahoma 2 losses. You could argue UCF but with the Milton injury I don't think they are the same team.

I could give a shit if they get in or not. They played like ass all year and won the only game I actually care about by ALOT! Still another week to prove themselves worthy of a shot if they can repeat that performance. Still a 1 loss team even with all the hate pointed towards them, they can’t be ignored if they show up to play again.

My opinion, the only way Georgia gets in is to beat Alabama. Alabama then becomes the 4 seed. Clemson 1, ND 2, Georgia 3, Alabama 4, If Georgia loses to Alabama they are done. If Georgia loses I think this will come down to Oklahoma and OSU and their last games. If they both win it will be a tough decision that will probably go to Oklahoma depending on how each team wins their last game.

The 4 BEST teams

At the end of the season. If Buckeyes decimate NW?

Personally, I'd like to see a solid win for Big 10 Championship game. I'd like a Bowl win. I'd like to try for play offs next season. I like our odds (IF we show up) against GA, OK, and think we'd slaughter ND. Not sure about Clemson or Bama. We could give anyone a run if we play like we did yesterday.

Some people use an awful lot of words to keep from saying The Ohio State Buckeyes played one hell of a game yesterday on both Offense and Defense.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
(Yes, this is in a joking manner)

What’s the criteria getting in? If they meet the criteria of the rules to get in, then what?

There aren't any rules, its all subjective opinions of a few people. Which has always been my gripe about the CFP. Not that I disagree with a 4 team playoff. But I do disagree with allowing humans to decide. This is the age of computers and all the stats for the entire season should be ranked and the best 4 should make it. Not play like shit against cupcakes, skate by the skin of your teeth, win one game dominantly and even be a topic of conversation for consideration much less have a shot. For example UCF lost their QB but that should have zero weight on if they're allowed in or not. If they manage to end up in the #4 spot they should be allowed the shot to overcome the diversity and play. Not be down to some old guys opinion that it won't make for a good game because they lost their QB.

I also think that 1 loss vs 2 loss shouldn't be that big of a consideration. If the 2 loss team had a tougher schedule, or their two losses were to teams ranked higher than the other persons one loss, then a 2 loss shouldn't matter. One loss to an unranked team should have the same weight as three losses to ranked teams.
For example. Number 4 Michigan has two losses to #3 Notre Dame and #10 Buckeyes. The Buckeyes loss was to an Unranked 6-6 team. If the committee had to fill the #4 spot and the choice happened to be UM and OSU, then IMO the obvious choice is UM despite the extra loss as their losses were to higher ranked teams and not a basketball school who went 6-6.
