Dam, anybody else got some good 8pts that just got made to look real little after looking at that site? I got 2 8s that just dont have the same feel after looking at those. Post some pics of TOOs great 8s

Last yrs 8...i consider him an 8 with a split g1, and my typical from 2008 season. Couldnt imagine seeing an 8pt of those caliber deer.
Let’s see yours! I’ve never killed a good 8, I chased one for a couple of years. Found a couple sheds, one from the dude I chased. Everyone else here has seen it. I don’t remember what it measured, but I’m sure the resident freak does. @finelyshedded
Dang, it’s been so long ago when I taped it Dave I can’t remember but I know it was impressive. I imagine mid to high 60’s though.

My best 8. Also a 2008 buck (11/4).
We knew him well and have a couple sheds from him from prior years.
I watched him bed about 125 yards from my tree just after first light. After watching him lay there for over 2 hours, I finally said 'fugg it' and was able to slip down the tree and crawl to within about 40 yards using the canary grass as cover. I decided I was close enough, got to my knees and was about to grunt to make him stand, but it was right at that time he did get a whiff of me (had a cross-wind to him) and stood on his own. He was broadside and looking right at me. As I released he spun and I thought I saw the arrow pass to the side of him marking a clean miss. Well, I hadn't missed and put it right through the front of his neck as he was turning and caught the jugular. He was dead about 200 yards later. I was a lucky man in more than one way that day!

What a great buck!! Great story TOO, sounds like one of those hunts that was just meant to be.Can only imagine the sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach to finaly get into position and then get off the shot, only to believe you missed. Then to find out it was a hit and im sure after hittn jugular a very bloody hit, had to have agreat feeling ..great story, great 8!

I’ve gotten three big 8’s that Look kinda small after seeing those other ones....one I just got back and did a euro mount, the others two I got mounted. One is bottom row on the left...the other is top row second from the right.

Here’s a big eight I got on camera but my neighbor hit him a bit far back and didn’t find it. He even looked after the season and never found it. Never got another pic after he shot so I’m assuming he didn’t make it.

I know several TOO members have killed some very nice 8’s over the years. Mason killed a nice on last year,Phil,Sgt Fury and Scot Schu got it done this year. Eric(epe) and Rick both got 150+” 8’s several years ago. These are just ones off the top of my head but like Dave said, my memory isn’t what she used to be.
