When your #1 is lazy and a force fetch candidate, but your #2 does this at 13 weeks, you adjust your rankings. This was a terrible throw on my part, but it turned into a great opportunity to see what she's made of. I love seeing her work, catch the wind, dive in, miss, dive back in and finish what she started. Super proud dad moment.

You think that felt good? Wait until a year or two from now when she goes into some thick cover, disappears for what seems like eternity, and just as you give up hope she comes busting back out with a crippled duck in her mouth. Now THAT is a good feeling you won't soon forget. Enjoy all these little moments man because very soon they're going to turn into some really big, memorable moments. Keep the updates coming, buddy. I really enjoy seeing the progression of the pups!

And they're ALL force fetch candidates. There's a lot more to it than just the fetch part. ;)

See all the dog toys in the first pic?! If he chews a shoe, I’m just gonna have to remember him in the pics. Dog seriously traded his smarts for looks. There’s a reason I dont have a trophy wife, I need more then looks.

Can always get pup from pearls litter when decide to have some. She has beauty and brains. Crazy smart, probably my smartest dog ever.
pearl said she got you covered.

How about we get back on track? As much as well love dog piles on Giles. . .

Otis saw the vet yesterday. Has put on 10# since March 9 when he came home with us. I think it is all muscle. Hasn't really added any weight in 3-4 weeks. I think he is where he will be. A couple reminder pics for change in weight. Good visual on how well he is doing.

Asked the very about a hard lump under his right shoulder. I couldn't place what it was. Didn't seem like fatty tumor. Doc said "sure does feel like a BB to me." Otis is a sweetie. Everyone in the vet office melted when they met him. He is a special dog. Hard to believe there is a person out there who could shoot him.
