Finally in for the 1st sit of the season. First time back in this stand, rodents had a field day on the trim over the last 8 months.

Those spots are just there to give you a point of aim. The fact that you could carry it out over your shoulder is just a bonus
Well that was fun. Glassed a field with no luck until about 45 minutes to and moved to a spot just off a field edge above a creek bottom overlooking thick bedding. Saw a doe that was working through the thick stuff but worked off with no shot offered. Then it really got fun. Had a big red coyote come down the creek and I had him dead to rights at 20 yards. The bastard caught me raising my bow and got out of dodge. Not 5 minutes later a small blonde coyote comes through and damn near runs me over before slamming on the brakes and reversing course lol. All in all a great time and a beautiful night to be out

Great morning to be out. Kinda rough direction for wind. But praying all of us out see bullwinkle this morning. So far only a coon was kind enough to stop by.

Same bb from last night is hanging out again. He better quit this shit, my mouth is watering.
It's like a $24 practice swing. You knock it over the fence, get loosened up, feel good about yerself, then have a snack. It's like a warm up for the season, takes the edge off.
