Love the pic Jim. My favorite thing I think about all offseason is that moent right there. Just that blue hued, orange starting to creep up. The world is waking up and your full of anticipation. Gods plan about to unfold in front of you
Couldn’t have said it better, man! I had those exact same thoughts this morning. God’s canvas is about as good as it gets!

I’ve seen 3 does and 3 bucks this morning. They were just on the other side of the property line. Not that I would have taken a shot anyway... I’m waiting for a buck, and none of those 3 tripped my trigger. But the one is a really nice 2.5 yr old typical 10 pointer that shows a ton of potential for the future. I watched them all go into the neighbor’s property last night, and sure enough, they read the script and came out right where I thought they would today. Watching those deer and sipping on some hot coffee just made my day. Gonna climb down in a few and get ready for church with the family.

What a freakin mess, but man was it fun! Mason and I sat the buddy stand where he killed his first buck. I took a gun, he took the video camera. We had a herd on us. I killed one, handed him the gun a few minutes latter and he dropped another. That 450 just continues to impress me. Neither deer took a step. We saw about 10-12, done by 8.
