I suppose your right, this time of year it should be a shoot the first deer available kinda thing, however he has got his doe already and I just know from previous years when he shoots a little one he's not pleased but at that moment he just can't help himself if I don't push him to wait

Man titties good one. Naa he has 3 bucks and multiple doe's under his belt with bow and gun, just none as big as the one in the picture, which is what's getting him I think. That big buck fever is tough on him.

I ain’t gonna lie, I freak out myself still. I had to pass on an absolute STUD 12 point a few years back. I seriously closed my eyes because I thought I was going to pass out. Locked myself in my climber so I wouldn’t fall out of the tree.

Probably no chance of making the spring campfire, once baseball starts our days our over for months but Stroud's is only 15-20 min

This evening we'll be headed in, I'll check cam then and if that sun gun was standing there at noon I'm marching to his bed and putting him in a headlock til the boy shoots him, well if he's still bedding in same spot. I haven't seen his bed but I bet if I had a grenade I could get him

Well one thing after another for us. We're sitting up there nice and quiet, critters started moving about and im looking around and watching birds peck around on the ground doing what they do and I noticed this broken piece of bark on a tree 20 ft away, binos out and holy moly! Damn dead ash tree I missed before that the wind opened up big time. "Get down" why! "Doesn't matter get down" lol. And leaning right at us

Set up on ground now and moving everything tomorrow
