Picked up some cabin grade solid 3/4” oak finished 5” wide flooring at an auction for a good price.
Been awhile since I updated but with the rain and the guys on other jobs hasn’t not been much going on.
Got all the windows in, flashing for roof so dormer siding could be put on.
Fireplace made in Ohio has been delivered.
Lots of trim done, work under porch done.
Interior stairs built.

What made u go with a prefab vs sight built fireplace? Hope the rains hold off 4 U to get that roof on.
If you are talking about full masonry, price and weight. Cost twice as much, weighs 3-4 times as much.
After it is installed with veneer stone, won’t be able to tell the difference.
Yea man they are located in Dalton, Ohio, they were great to work with and built the fireplace exactly as I designed it. It is a double fireplace, one on the outside and one on the inside. They are completely separate with two flues.

Looking good Clay, glad to see things are moving along. Seems like the south is getting nothing but liquid sunshine lately.
Things are moving, waiting on one triangle window, cut out for fireplace, and which is being set Wednesday. They only have a few days left on the dry in, then it is all on me.
Plumbing and electrical materials showing up next week.
Hopefully the roof goes on next week, but they are calling for rain.

They had to wait on me to do electrical rough in around 3 doors

Little concrete form work, this is a first for me, gonna pour it tomorrow. This is the 6” pad for the fireplace
