I actually threw some away and Christine threw all of hers away. I almost finished it all. All I could taste was salt, she said it tasted like fish. Good idea failed.
There’s a fine line with blackened fish, go over that line and might as well toss it...
We learned that tonight. She’s used to doing halibut or salmon. This thin stuff just couldn’t take that much seasoning. Still 4 more bags thawed out in the fridge, try something else tomorrow.

Try making them like crab cakes if fried or grilled isn't doing anything for ya. I'm going to search my freezer for a stray bag......fish sounds amazingWe learned that tonight. Atta boy! You only drooled with every pic I posted last week. Lol
We did deer bacon burgers over wood and charcoal. No pics as I was starving.
I made a quick chicken/sausage etouffee. Didnt have time to do my own roux so I used some Zatarains etouffee base. Was disappointed i didnt have any celery either. Regardless, it turned out dang good
it was all that i thought it would be......
I made deer burgers Pryor to the fish to fill the kids up so I'd actually get some fish. They clear a plate of gills in a blink.....
Made stuffed pepper soup Saturday. Sunday breakfast was eggs over easy, bacon, avocado and Costa Rican rice and beans. Sous Vide prime rib Sunday.
