Silver lining. Know what has really ceased to exist over the last couple weeks. Scam and telemarketing calls. I used to get 3-6 a day. Now nothing. Those high density call centers in India and Pakistan must not have had a good work from home plan. 🤣

I just wish I could get spam texts to stop. They have slowed down but I'm still getting them. Reporting them as spam to Verizon has done no good since they spoof a different number everytime.

One big plus for everything being in lockdown is that "Honey Do List".... There will be no excuses this Nov. that I couldn't get out cause I had things to do around the house... Plenty of time now to get that honey do list done and hunt in the fall..

Ours here in Louisiana is soon. Maybe as soon as Monday. I’m getting this second hand but writing is on the wall. National guard is flooding New Orleans now.

Exactly Denny. Sorry to point out Clay as I was a bit over the top when this thread started myself. It seems many of us have taken our turns being almost angry about things. I too needed to chill out and find my comfort.

During these times we are our own worst enemies being stuck in our heads. My wife has been almost forcing me to drink to calm down. She has been drinking more than I have the last couple of weeks (first ever in 15 years). She is home trying to keep things clean, be a teacher, be a mother, be a wife and is about at her ends. This stress falls on the husband as well. I have been going to work while she’s been stuck at the house with these heathens. Those of you that are both working parents from home...best of luck, I’m betting it’s hardest on y’all.

Maybe we need a rant thread for all this. So we can keep this thread of great information going in the right direction. NSFW tag Fugg Covid19 😂

we are all good, people who get worked up know the challenges and difficulties our country faces. The ones I am worried about are those that think this is nothing and those that don’t care and can’t take care of themselves.

In the new poll, 55% of Americans approve of the president's management of the crisis, compared to 43% who disapprove. Trump’s approval on this issue is up from last week, when the numbers were nearly reversed. Only 43% approved of Trump's handling of the pandemic and 54% disapproved in last week's poll.

They’ve been trying to blame him now, a lot of people aren’t buying it.

That’s a change of sentiment from “people will die from lack of supplies or fear of going out and it won't take but another 7-10 days of this before violence ensues.” Shit that’s like, this weekend! 😂 “Will” is a strong prediction anyway.

Nope, that sentiment remains intact. However, I'm not a realist and a cautious optimist. I still believe in American ingenuity and resilience. So, allow me to reiterate, this too shall pass. We'll be fine. Eventually.

You black and white guys always miss the grey...

Not really. I respect you a great deal and I fully understand what you’re trying to say. I just think you’re contributing to more alarm bells than is necessary. But hey, free speech and free thought. But, I’ll be ok the lookout for the deaths due to violence. No doubt there have been some fights but I don’t think people will be killed in a grocery store over this. If so, God bless us all.

I think it's time for these Washington Press Briefings to be turned into a national address briefings with the task team instead, meaning reporters should send in questions to the Whitehouse prior to the daily national address briefing.

I say this because today's press briefing turned into a real shit-show and that does nobody any good.

I'm sure the President's time along with the task team professionals can be better spent on the actual problem at hand.

I felt that this last press briefing today for the most part was very inefficient and too many reporters were looking to get that 'Gotcha' question in.
