This is very concerning and raises an issue with me. So Coumo said today "We've procured about 7,000 ventilators. We need, as a minimum, other 30,000 ventilators'

So what happens when large population centers like NY suck up all of the available medical supplies and then places like Louisiana who are just a couple weeks behind NY start to need them? What about the areas that are 4-5 weeks away from having the issues that NY currently has. Is NY going to ship them to those states?

I hope to God that States are aggressively procuring and " hoarding" the supplies needed to handle their own upcoming demand. I have a bad feeling that fly over states are doing to get fucked on this.

So the private sector wants to help ramp up production. If all the red tape was removed, I'm quite certain companies like GM, Tesla, etc. could help expedite.....just need to remove the compliance shit and move some air. . Label as temporary, banned after government says so, cant be put into production, etc.

I will be the first to say I know nothing on the technical requirements of a ventilator needed for COVID-19. But, iron lungs are basic designs that let ppl breathe with polio, let's start there. Simple design using pressure. Now, what doesn't it achieve to save lives? Enhance, review, remeasure, start again.

Sounds like the shit is really going to start hitting the fan in NYC soon if not already... Cuomo did say he needed more ventilators now and also said he would get them transported to other areas when the peak started to subside and things picked up in other areas... He also said they are trying to use one ventilator on 2 people, which would be fantastic... Dr. Bierk also made the following statement: If you have been in NYC lately odds are you are infected and should quarantine yourself for two weeks... This made me think of Denny's son... So wishing you the best with this Denny... Shits about to get real around here so even though I went to the grocery store today, I make another run tomorrow and then stay in till April 15th...

I did read today where they started that NY wasn't expected to peak until around the first of May. If that is right then Jesus. 43 deaths yesterday, 114 today. Extrapolate that growth trend out over the next 30 days and that amounts to thousands a day.

NY city as well a small a few other major metropolitan areas are nothing but a huge drain on society. Got too upstate NY and see all the reservoirs that are earmarked for that leach of a city.
