Anyone see on Tucker tonight the reporting of the LA sheriff releasing 4000 inmates out into the streets because of the inmates raising hell because they were afraid they were going to get it while in confinement? The sheriff has also released a statement that crime sprees may now be on the rise....WTF🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️😡

I looked at the numbers for hospitalizations and ICU admissions this morning and it was pretty promising in Ohio. Then they did the 2:00 update and it went to shit. I have noticed that Numbers on Saturday and Sunday and Monday tend to be low, then Tuesday through Thursday have big jumps.. My theory is I better not need hospitalization or ICU admission on a weekend because there is an obvious drop in effort that resumes on Monday and is reported in Tuesday's numbers.

You remember years ago when you used a debit card and purchased anything Friday afternoon or over the weekend wouldn't show up on your bank records until Tuesday's? Nobody with the authority to run numbers and reports until Monday morning. After all the numbers were finalized and signed off on by the end of business Monday so they didn't reflect until Tuesday morning at the open off business. I think these numbers are being played the same way.

That’s sad shit!!! Why’d they put the police at risk arresting them and waste our time and money prosecuting them in the first place.
Not sure if it's the case in all places, but it's my understanding that jails are required to pay for the medical care of inmates.

Non-violent offender on the street versus paying tens of thousands per prisoner that needs to be in an ICU? Could be wrong, but that's my guess.

Got a call today. Homeless person broke into an empty shopping plaza we maintain. I investigate. Run the guy out. Call police. Call Service Master to clean his mess up. (Don't ask me why he didn't just use the toilet 8' away.) Fill out paperwork for criminal trespassing. Then they told him to stay off the property for 2 years. Local PD told me nobody goes into the jail unless they have done serious stuff. Domestic violence? Not locked up. Pretty much sounded like you were free to wander unless you murdered or raped someone. Maybe I should have asked him if those criminals are being locked up or not.

Sorry to hear that buddy. Ohio has been releasing "nonviolent offenders" out of the jails for weeks now. I also know of someone who has gotten caught embezzling over 800k from a local business and they aren't doing anything about it until the covid stuff is over. Got her red handed, evidence to the ceiling, they're just sitting on it. It's Jims Ex wife's daughter and a local farmer that she was a secretary for.

Just another day with an unexpected change in my plans. It happens. The point being more as an emphasis on what @finelyshedded was saying. It is not just the state and federal pens. They have the local clink emptied out as well. I'm thinking unless you are a genuine threat to society. . .You're walking until this is over.

And that’s why CC is so important in this day and age.....

the reaction might not be flu like. But the mortality rate most likely is. People didn’t magically stop dying kf other causes.

I've never seen them load refrigerated semis with dead flu victims. Just saying. I'm not arguing that its not lower than what's stated as it's obvious we have a large untested population. But the results that we're seeing is unlike any flu we've ever had in recent history and that us with massive quarantine orders.

I did see a quote yesterday that resinated with me though. It said "Restricting the free movement of sick people is a quarantine, restricting the movement of healthy people is tyranny."

And I feel the same way. The problem is we don't have the test ability to separate the two.

That is a behavior based on transmission rates, fear and novelty of the virus. The cause of loading bodies is not necessarily correlated to the death rate. Like I said, the reaction isn’t flu like.
