Well we have a cool spell here and had shrimp defrosted in the fridge. Got home from work and momma had a big pot of chicken, sausage and shrimp gumbo. Talk about....
home made "shake-n-bake" pork loin chops, left over mashed potatoes w/chanterelle-ramp gravy, spinach and arugula salad. and my friends Tito and Fever Tree.
Butchered a small heifer today and threw the saddle on the smoker for 6 hours while i worked. Just fun and delicious to pick off all those tender morsels
Lake Erie Warreye tonight along with waffle fries. Skillet fried a nice batch we caught on Chad’s Charter 3-5 years ago. It was a very memorable getaway for all 4 of us and we talked about the trip as we absolutely killed it. Tasted like we caught them yesterday. We kept saving them for a special occasion and I found them when going through our freezer and we couldn’t think of a better time to enjoy them now that K is feeling a bit better.
