Broke out some of the homegrown stock tonight. Homegrown, aged filets. Pan seared and finished with my homeade herb infused butter. Paired nicely with green beans. Simple and fantastic.

I absolutely love a good charcoal grilled steak but sometimes a good pan sear hits just right.
Bacon / Deer Burgers w/ gouda cheese and steamed stir fry veggies.

Looks great man, somehow in life i haven't made it around to using gouda on a burger. Got to put that on my grocery list!

Threw a couple channel cat fillets on the charcoal tonight. My wife whipped up some homeade tartar sauce, sauteed cabbage, and a marinated cucumber, onion, ,tomato salad. It was a nice meal after working in the garden this afternoon!!
If I have the chance to pick my last bite of food of earth a fried gill or perch would be it. That looks like a extremely great way to cook those cats....

I could eat fried fish every day if my life. Two or three times. We have a family fish fry once a week but i eat it grilled or blackened throught the week.
I smoked a chuck roast for a bit then seared it. Wrapped it up and let it rest. Rubbed it down overnight in pittboss Brisket and beef rub. Served with some high heat roasted garlic parmesan asparagus
Far a real quick meal out of the freezer. This is hard to beat! I think they’re $4-5 at aldis. Takes 3 tablespoons of butter, dump and cook for 10 minutes. Perfect for days like today that I’ve been on the run and didn’t want to stop for fast food.

Payed my dues to the Eastern Band today and got my limit of rainbows. My dad caught several as well. Brought them home and filleted them out. Boneless/skinless for the grease, half shells for the smoker. Fried some up some for super and my goodness....They were delicious and i can't wait for the dip coming in the near future.
Fresh fish on the table and a great day spent with my dear old dad. Tonight i will rest a happy man.

Got bored...was craving some good smoked sausage, creamy Mac and cheese and watermelon. So I didn’t say anything and just went with what sounded good. Family is smashing it! I hope they don’t ask me to cook again.
