Figured out the LRBHO issue. The last round activator (red) is pushed up by the magazine follower which rotates the bar and raises a bolt block that catches the bolt. (Green) The activator is being contacted ever so slightly by the feed ramp of the upper causing it to stick in the low position. The spring tension of the mag does not have the ass to push it up. And by ever so slightly I'm talking a couple thousandths of an inch. Nothing a file can't fix on the backside of the activator. Even though this is a FM upper and Lower I bought them seperate and there's no way they could have caught that. I'm sure if it was a complete gun from them it never would have left the factory without being filed a little to make it function. . Just the joys of building.

For you guys thinking of doing a build, I would highly HIGHLY recommend FoxTrot Mike. I've sen them two emails and both times they responded extremely fast. I sent them one at 5:40 pm on a friday asking about filing the LRBHO and they responded at 9:30 with a suggestion to fix it, the offer of spare parts, and a willingness to have it shipped in and them do it. The first email was about buffer weight and they offered to send me a buffer for $20 and they would cover shipping just send them a check. Unfortunately the leftst have gotten their CC processing shut down so they mostly sell wholesale now to the bigger places like aim surplus, primary arms etc. If you're looking for quality and top notch service from an American small business. You can't go wrong with Foxtrot Mike..

Acceptance and and a love/hate relationship of countless hours pulling the handle on a reloader. Some guys find it therapeutic! Not me I fucking hate it and it’s a chore to a means of an end that never comes. “Stack it deep” you say. I used to try and did but then You just get to the point of never being able to keep up. I just told Levi it was time to get back to making the doughnuts but components are the problem now with all this shit going on🙄

I may have to do the same in the near future. But like you said components are getting scarce.

A couple of very small bumps with a rubber mallet on the follower catch like support recommended and the bolt hold open works like a champ. 👍.

Took the gun out and fired about 20 mags with only two rounds in them. LRBHO worked like a champ with both Glock and Pmags. So it's not short cycling. The combo of the heavier buffer and spring makes it feel like a pop gun. Freaking love this thing!

I have a foxtrot mike factory 9mm side charging pistol. I bought it on sale off primary arms for 525 shipped. I found it was cheaper than building one. I love the little thing. My LRBHO has always functioned flawlessly with glock and magpul brand mags. It has been 100 percent reliable with both ball and speer gold dot hollow points. I have found it to be pretty accurate as well. The upper to lower fit is super tight, maybe a bit too tight as i always have to use pin to punch the take down pins in and out. I probably have 900 rounds through it now. I think foxtrot mike makes the best ar pistol lower and has been a great company to do business with.

Pretty sweet. How long ago did you buy it? The same gun is $699 now on Primary Arms. I looked at the left side forward side charge but decided to stay with the more familiar rear charge like an AR.

I bought it last summer when the ar market was really slow. PA had a 100 dollars off over 500 dollars spent sale. The PA email ads are really annoying but every now amd then they have good deals or sale coupons that are valid for 12 to 24 hours. You can switch the charging handle between left or right. It also came with a charging handle that makes it ambidextrous. unfortunately the ambi charging handle interferes with the troy sight bases. The side charging handle does give it more of a submachine feel. I dont intend on using it for any kind of serious use so i went for the side charging model for the fun aspect. The charging handle is basically a rod that runs through the unused gas tube entrance on the upper receiver and pushes on a tang on top of the bolt where the gas key would be on a DI AR bolt.

Makes sense. I added an upper to my cart over there and backed out. I typically do that because sites will quite often send you a coupon in hopes that you complete the sale. No such luck with them. Since then they've been constantly blowing up my inbox. Good thing i have a junk account just for that reason.

Was shooting today and the trigger locked up. I instantly knew what the problem was. Some bozo (me) installed the disconnector spring upsidedown. Can't get good help these days.
