Driving through N.Y. today I noticed this 71 Olds 442 sitting on someone's front lawn... One of the original muscle cars of the 70's.... Thing was immacculate in and out.... Had a price tag of $20,000... Which probably ain't bad... Hell most of you guys were still swimming upstream when this car

Wonder if it’s a clone? For that price I’m thinking it probably was....

J.... I'm think it's authentic as it looked used but maybe in a garage.... Nobody was home so I didn't find out much..... Now if it was a 454 72-73 Chevelle I might be sleeping outside tonight... Still a very very nice car, but you gotta go over them with a fine toothed comb.... I think Giles should send me a deposit.... He could park it in his new barn....

He’d need a booster seat for it....

He'd just have Dustin drive it when it's time to take it out for Busch Lites... He'd also probably start a new thread about swapping the Big Block for a Cummins diesel.....

If I was to ever buy a classic it would be an early model olds.
Hell... I'd consider the one pictured a true classic... Muscle car era was something else... GTO Judge's etc.... I remember once I was with my friend and he had his Chevy Impala 427... There was a wedding procession I guess going to the reception and there was an Orange GTO Judge in it...I leaned out the passenger window and egged on the driver... Yup he pulled out and took the lead in front of the limo.... It was race time... He blew the Judges doors off.... We had a blast in the late 60's early 70's....

Good looking car Rich. I'm guessing around 71-72? I had a 74 Cutlass. 350 Rocket. She was a big fine lady. Heavy. 100mph was scary. Dad sold.it while I was in Basic Training. Guess he didn't want multiple vehicles sitting around for months while I was gone. Not sure how he sold it. Titled in my name. Lol
